CANON 60D

Canon has unveiled its latest DSLR camera called the EOS 60D it will replace the 50D in the Canon line and offers new features. The only change that isn’t so good is that the 60D uses a plastic body rather than the magnesium body of the 50D. It also includes the 3-inch live view LCD screen that moves in several angles. The image sensor for the camera has 18MP resolution and uses a DIGIC 4 image processor. It also gains the 7D's HD movie capability. So for you photographers you may want to check this new model out!

So I was planning buying the 5d for 1100 should I now consider this?

I think that if you're coming from a rebel body its a good upgrade but if you're patient enough the 7d is a better buy. I think Canon dropped the ball on this one.
